The European Standard “EN 15635 – Steel static storage systems – Application and maintenance of storage equipment” aims to minimise risks and ensure safer warehouse operation by preventing damage to racking structures.

The process consists of a periodic visual inspection of the racking components (uprights, beams, anchors, etc.), at intervals not exceeding 12 months. The inspection shall be carried out by a qualified professional, who will determine the level of risk and issue a report detailing the damage and anomalies identified and their locations, together with a layout of the inspected racking.

We have the advantage of being able to inspect racking from a wide range of manufacturers, whereas manufacturers generally inspect only their own racking systems.

Following our technical inspection, we can avoid the need to replace materials by using our mechanical upright repair service, which employs a mechanical system to restore the upright to its original shape.

Proper maintenance of metal racking is essential to ensure the storage system functions correctly. We recognize that clients are often aware of the need for maintenance but fail to carry it out due to a lack of time or operational resources, such as labor or lifting equipment.

To address this, we offer a solution that eliminates the need to unload the racking or purchase new uprights. Our system applies force using a set of molds to restore the upright to its original shape, provided there are no fractures or tears. On average, an upright can be repaired in 40 to 50 minutes, without the client needing to allocate staff or lifting equipment to the task.

It consists of a system of beams and uprights forming aisles with sufficient space for forklift traffic. It is commonly used for storing palletized loads, as it allows for easy product picking and facilitates the handling of high-turnover inventory.

It can be a suitable option for small warehouses, offices, or even homes.

It is available in at least two versions: one for manual loads and another for pallets. The system consists of shelving units mounted on wheels that slide along rails. The manual load version features a handwheel that allows the units to slide in either direction.

For palletized loads, it is a semi-automated system where the bases can be positioned without any aisles between them.
